About our fund raisers
In the blink of an eye, tragedy happens. The Victim Intervention Program, Inc. provides support services to the families, friends and community of loved ones lost to homicide, suicide and accidental death.
VIPI is a volunteer-driven program coordinated by 2 paid positions and reviewed by a Board of Directors. The program has some government funding, but will primarily depend on the generosity of community members in the upcoming months and years.
During 2001, VIPI made 583 crisis contacts (many in person), served 348 new clients, and 82 new families. VIPI needs ongoing financial support to maintain existing programs in St. Paul/Ramsey County and Minneapolis/Hennepin County.
We hope you never need our services, but if you or your employees do, we want to be available.
Fundraising efforts are made via mail, internet and events. Please click here to email us if you are interested in making a tax-deductible contribution or getting on our mailing list.

the purpose of holding events
VIPI leads remembrance ceremonies twice each year to continue to recognize and support survivors' grief and honor their loved ones.
Events through VIPI serve three purposes:
To help heal survivors through memorial services and dedications.
To raise funds to keep these services available to those in need.
To raise public awareness of the need for these kind of community programs.
